He concurrently serves as Vice-Chairman for IAB Netherlands. | The Atomised Web We’re beginning to move away from the age of the web as a series of ‘destinations’ and moving to one where content and applications are delivered to where the users want them, at the time they want them and on the device of their choice. This radical change has some profound implication for the way we do business and the way we construct our digital assets. This whirlwind tour will take us through some of the key concepts such as RSS, widgets and API’s and show examples of best practice from the UK and beyond. BIO: Craig is currently Training Director at E-consultancy, helping deliver skills training and organisation change to business adjusting to the digital age. E-consultancy currently work with hundreds of companies including MSN, IPC Media, Euromoney, Chevrolet, JP Morgan, Orange and Time Warner. E-consultancy is the leading source of research, analysis, training and events for the digital marketing industry with over 60,000 registered users. Prior to joining E-consultancy Craig established and ran as MD a leading UK (NMA top 30) digital agency for 9 years. | Digital creativity and collaboration Creativity has always been about collaboration. In the case of advertising, it’s usually the collaboration between an art director and a copywriter - who pray that their ideas would be the ones to go before the clients, to win the pitches, to go into production. That way of working has served the industry pretty well until recently. In the digital realm we have a rapidly changing, ever expanding list of deliverables - constantly in prototype and with the added intricacies of a medium that is more personal and an audience that is at once increasingly demanding and more-or-less able to manipulate and contribute to our output. The talk will address where our collaborative ideas come from, why collaboration is important to us and how to be a good creative leader in a collaborative environment. BIO: Laura cut her teeth as a key figure in the infamous Geek Girl hyperzine in the early nineties, and has been involved in the design and implementation of many of the world’s most cutting edge digital projects for international brands as diverse as Levi’s, Mini, We Are What We Do and Coke. She has consistently won awards for her commercial work. Together with Alessandra Lariu she founded SheSays in 2006 and it currently has over 500 members. SheSays is an initiative to help women to start or develop a creative digital career, focusing on monthly free events, and a mentorship programme. | The People vs. The Brand How social media ideals vs client expectations rarely match - with case studies from Levi's & Lexus. BIO: In 1994 launched music portal IUMA Europe (The internet underground music database ) In 1997 he co-founded Lateral to create socially relevant and technically astute programs which don’t patronize audiences. In 2000 he co-founded the über-tech elite LShift He is responsible for award winning online campaigns and programmes for brands such as Stella Artois, Granada,Five, Sega, Nintendo, Pathé, RSPCA, Cadillac, EMI and more.
