Andri Viiand
Managing Director
Andri is Managing Director at Altex and he’s responsible for managing altex and key client projects.
Before taking the MD role Andri was altex’s Senior Project Manager for one and a half years. Andri’s wide ranging experiences in E-channels and project management come from 4 years as Web Manager for Estonia’s biggest company Eesti Energia where he was responsible for the everyday management and development of Eesti Energia’s web team – which handles more than twenty different websites and intranets in 4 countries.
Andri also managed all of the large website and web content development projects.
Andri is an experienced teacher -he has given more than hundred trainings on content management, web applications and web analytics.
Andri champions Open Software and Open Standards and always ready to share experience and knowledge related to these subjects. |
Tõnis Hinnosaar
Director and Partner at Pay4results.eu
Tõnis is leading the European CPC, CPA & Affiliate Marketing Network Pay4results.eu and has played a key role at altex marketing since 2006.
He is widely experienced in a large number of internet marketing skills, including: search engine marketing, email marketing, web analytics and conversion optimisation.
As an experienced consultant and trainer he regularly speaks at internet marketing industry events, seminars and conferences.
He has also called to lecture at several Estonian Universities and conducts numerous company in-house training events.

Robin Gurney
Special Projects Consultant
Robin founded altex marketing and held the role of Managing Director for over 5 years.
Now he works on selective client campaigns that require strong creative or strategic input.
He started as an internet marketer in the UK in 1997 and since then has been the creative force and director of hundreds of European internet marketing projects. A more informal biography is on the altex blog.

Birgit Naur
Partner, Finance Director
Since co-founding altex marketing, Birgit Naur has been responsible for all legal and financial issues as well as assisting with language translations.
Birgit has two degrees: in Economics and European Law. In addition to over five years working experience as an accountant she has also served ten years in the Estonian Diplomatic Service.

Kristlyn Sikk
General Assistant
Kristlyn’s work involves various office administration tasks. She takes care that every altexor’s work could run well. Kristlyn also helps coordinate and promote altex’s internet marketing seminars and events.
Kristlyn is acquiring a university degree in economics and marketing at Tallinn University of Technology. During her university studies she has had quite a diverse practise in the field of assistance and marketing in large companies like EMT and Baltika Group. She is an active and positive young lady whose interests reach from sports to art and culture.

Merle Ainsoo
Designer
Merle Ainsoo is responsible for all design projects for both internal and client campaigns.
Her 10 years of experience means she has developed a variety of styles and is consistently able to produce high quality work under pressure.

Aleksei Kharkovskyi
Eastern European Expansion Manager for www.pay4results.eu
Aleksei started at altex as a freelance researcher and translator and was quickly appointed as pay4results.eu Eastern Europe Countries Expansion Manager. Aleksei has Masters Degree in Finance. And have big working experience in sales and marketing.

David Phillips
Internet Public Relations Geek
David Phillips has a strong academic background in Public Relations.
He gives practical input and works on projects which need his specialist knowledge.
He is also a member of Chartered Institute of Public Relations from 1999 and head of CIPR/PRCA Internet committee.
He has written scientific articles, PR evaluation bibliography and a books called “Evaluating Press Coverage” (1992), “Managing Your Reputation in Cyberspace” (2000), “Online Public Relations” (2001).
He is currently also teaching online PR at Bournemouth University.

CEE Expansion Advisor
Rok Hrastnik is a leading Central & Eastern Europe online direct marketing professional and a highly experienced international internet manager.
His main job is as International Internet Director at Studio Moderna – managing their internet operations across 22 countries whilst leading a team of 140+ internet marketing professionals throughout the region.
At altex his role will be to advise and assist with our CEE expansion, providing crucial insight into individual CEE markets and strategic input for altex CEE clients.

Rain Rannu
Mobile & International Expansion Advisor
Rain has been involved in the internet and mobile services industry since 2000, as an entrepreneur, consultant and lecturer.
His main role is leading Fortumo.com – a popular mobile payments service for web entrepreneurs and app developers, currently available in 40+ countries in Europe, Asia, North America and Africa.
At altex his role will be to advise and assist with our international expansion and development of mobile opportunities, offering strategic input along the way.

Kristjan Jansen
User Experience Consultant
Kristjan’s role at altex is to consult on projects where user experience is deemed critical (to a successful outcome).
Kristjan can be described with a never-ending will to fix the world and make humans and technology get along again.
Having been the senior interaction designer of Skype for four years, he has had the opportunity to study the user-habits of milions users with different cultural background.
Now working as an independent user experience consultant, he shares his time between designing, teaching and studying.
